Hi, my name is Shelby.  I first stepped foot into Kay’s School of Dance when I was 3 years old! Ever since I started dancing, I haven’t been able to get enough!  Miss Kay has been my instructor for my entire study here. I have studied ballet, tap, jazz, and have been on the competition team with the dance studio for 12 years. I have attended the dance seminars at the competitive conventions and well as performing in local community shows such as the Winchester Hospital Follies, and the Lord Fairfax Spring Shows.  I have a nursing degree, but I have a passion for dance that has allowed me to go into my twelfth year of teaching here at KSD. I currently teach creative movement, kinder- ballet, beginner ballet, tap, and jazz and some intermediate classes. I truly enjoy teaching, each and every moment I am here I live by my life’s motto,

“ There is always a reason to dance!”
